AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 2.44 (d)

AND REPEAL AND RECREATE SECTION 2.46 (a)(11)

RELATING TO THE EMPLOYMENT

OF A REGISTERED SANITARIAN

 

The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, Wisconsin do hereby ordain as follows:

 

Section 1:         Section 2.44 (d), Appointed Officials – Sanitarian, is hereby repealed in its entirety.

 

Section 2:         Section 2.46 (a) (11), Non-Union Employees Below Department Manager Status – Health Department, is hereby repealed and recreated as follows:

                       

                        Section 2.46    NON-UNION EMPLOYEES BELOW DEPARTMENT MANAGER STATUS

                                    (a)        Positions designated.

                                                (11)  Health Department

  1. The following position shall be filled by appointment by the Community Public Health Officer and shall not be a Civil Service position:
    1. Registered Sanitarian
  2. The following positions shall be filled by appointment by the Community Public Health Officer from an eligible list supplied by the Civil Service Commission:
    1. Public Health Nurse Supervisor/Deputy Health Officer
    2. Public Health Nurse

Section 3:         All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Section 4:         This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and   after its passage and publication.
