RECOMMENDATION:  That the Common Council approve the schedule of regular combined meeting dates for 2008.

BACKGROUND:  Years ago, the Council regularly began holding combined Committee of the Whole and Common Council meetings on Tuesday nights.  Also, throughout the year, combined Council meetings are routinely needed due to holidays, elections, etc.  To better enable the public, staff and the media to plan for these meetings, it is advisable to schedule these in advance whenever possible.

Included with this report is a complete listing showing combined meetings scheduled for 2008.

FISCAL IMPACT:  None.
