Recommendation: To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the installation of pavement markings and signage on S. 10th Street at W. Rawson Avenue.
Background: The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on October 10, 2007. There were no residents present for this item. The Engineering Department presented an exhibit showing the proposed pavement marking and signage. Milwaukee County has reviewed the exhibit and has approved the layout and signage. There was limited discussion with no objection to the improvements.
Motion by Matthew Sullivan and seconded by Mike Lampe to install lane use pavement marking and signage on S. 10th Street at the intersection of W. Rawson Avenue. Motion passed with all in favor.

Fiscal Impact: If approved, there are sufficient funds available in the Street Department operating budget to accommodate this installation.
