Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the installation of a curve ahead sign on S. Liberty Lane.

Background: The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on October 10, 2007.  There were no residents present for this item.  Engineering Department presented an exhibit showing a curve ahead warning sign that would be installed north of the curve on Liberty Lane.  The sign would be a 36” x 36” W1-2R sign.  The commission agreed that this will be a good starting point.

Motion by Matthew Sullivan and seconded by Cliff Nelson to install a curve ahead warning sign on S. Liberty Lane.  Motion passed with all in favor.

Fiscal Impact:  If approved, there are sufficient funds available in the Street Department operating budget to accommodate this installation.
