Recommendation:  That the Common Council authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation & Forestry to purchase and repair snow removal equipment for the City Hall Complex for a sum not to exceed $20,000

 

Background:  The snow removal equipment used at the City Hall Complex requires major repairs and/or replacement. 

 

The intent is to purchase used snow blower equipment and replace the current broom attachment.  The staff would like to repair and/or replace this equipment before the winter weather arrives and while quality replacement equipment is available.

 

Fiscal Impact:  $20,000 was appropriated for this project in the 2008 CEP budget.
