Common Council Report

Recommendation:  That the Council adopt Resolution No. 10793-100207 approving the certified survey map for the property at 305 E. Mahn Court.

Background:  In November of 2006 the Common Council approved a CSM that split the property at 305 E. Mahn Court into two separate parcels. The CSM was recorded but Milwaukee County discovered that a segment of land was missing from the CSM.  This portion of land (the narrow piece of land that extends to the southeast) was included in all of the CSMs that were reviewed by the Plan Commission and Common Council.  However for some reason it was missing from the CSM that got recorded. In order to correct this issue a new CSM is needed.  The new CSM will not create any additional lots, just redraw the boundaries of the CSM in accordance with what was originally approved by the Plan Commission and Common Council. 

The Plan Commission has reviewed the certified survey map, and has recommended its approval.

Fiscal Impact:  The current development taking place on the property (estimated at $8 million dollars) will have a positive fiscal impact for this TIF district and the City.
