A RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE UPON THE DEATH OF DR. JOHN ALLES AND APPRECIATION FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF OAK CREEK
AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH
WHEREAS, Dr. John Alles was appointed to the Board of Health in October 2000; and
WHEREAS, Dr. John Alles provided insight and leadership, serving as Chairman of the Board of Health since May 2003; and
WHEREAS, Dr. John Alles was instrumental in the development of the Oak Creek Community Health Improvement Plan - 2003; and
WHEREAS, Dr. John Alles significantly contributed to policy decisions for the citizens of Oak Creek, such as the Prevention and Maternal/Child Health grants, preparedness plans, beach water testing, and other issues; and
WHEREAS, Dr. John Alles served the City in a thorough, conscientious and professional manner; and
WHEREAS, Dr. John Alles resigned from the Board of Health in June 2006 and sadly passed away on July 25, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, wish to recognize Dr. John Alles for his dedicated service to the City of Oak Creek as a member of the Board of Health.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that condolences be extended on the death of Dr. John Alles and that sincere sympathy be extended to his family.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to the family of Dr. John Alles.
