AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 17.0502 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING DRIVEWAY GATES ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES

The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek does hereby ordain as follows:

SECTION 1: Section 17.0502(f) of the Municipal Code is hereby created to read as follows:

(f) Driveway gates are permitted, upon the issuance of a building permit, in residential districts, but may not exceed five feet in height, must be a minimum of fifty percent open space, may not extend into the vision clearance triangle of corner properties, may not be chain link or wire, and may not encroach upon the public right of way.

SECTION 2:    All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3:    This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
