Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopt Resolution No. 10676-091906, a resolution approving and accepting certain public sanitary easements and vacating certain public sanitary sewer easements, across the rear of  the properties at 965 through 1239 W. Violet Drive, all in the White Tail Ridge Subdivision (Tax Key Nos. 858-0018 through 858-0029) (6^th Aldermanic District).

Background:  The public sanitary sewer vacations and easement dedications are necessary to centrally locate an existing public sanitary sewer within the public sanitary sewer easement. This situation occurred when the final plat for White Tail Ridge Subdivision incorrectly located the existing sanitary sewer easement.  Only after new home construction was this fact discovered.  These vacations and new easements will eliminate confusion for both the City and the property owners.       

Fiscal Impact: None. The property owners are vacating certain portions of land and dedicating the new easements to the City at no cost.
