Recommendation: That the Common Council adopt Resolution No. 10675-091906, which would approve the development agreement with Sikh Temple of Wisconsin (Developer) for the installation of storm water management facilities and public sanitary sewer for their development at 7502 and 7512 S. Howell Avenue (Tax Key Nos. 781-9994 and 781-9995 (Project No. 06068) (1st Aldermanic District).
Background: Sikh Temple of Wisconsin is proposing to construct a temple at 7202 and 7212 S. Howell Avenue. The development will include a temple building and related parking and grounds area. For this to occur, the Developer must construct City and Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) approved storm water management facilities. They must also construct a public sanitary sewer. This agreement will provide the City with the authority to direct and control the design and construction of the required storm water management facilities and the public sanitary sewer to ensure they meet City codes and specifications.
Fiscal Impact: None. Developer pays for all design and installation costs.
