Recommendation:  That the Common Council authorize the City Clerk to issue a Notice of Disallowance on the claim of Mary Wiltzius, 7778 S. Lenox Ave. (1^st District).

Background:  Mary Wiltzius originally filed a claim with the Water & Sewer Utility in June of 2006 in the estimated amount of $30,994.32 for damage caused to her basement due to a leaking water meter that was installed in 1997.  CVMIC recommended denial of the claim, and on 8/10/06 a Notice of Claim was received by the City and the Utility in the amount of $30,994.32.  CVMIC is recommending that a Notice of Disallowance be issued.

Fiscal Impact:  None at this time.
