COUNCIL PROCLAMATION No. 06-14

APPRECIATION TO

WAUWATOSA SAVINGS BANK

AND

KEI, KUJAWA ENTERPRISES INC.,

FOR THEIR DONATION OF ENHANCEMENTS

TO THE OAK CREEK VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK

WHEREAS,  in mid-May, Wauwatosa Savings Bank, along with KEI,  Kujawa Enterprises, Inc., proposed landscaping improvements to the Oak Creek Veterans Memorial Park at South 6^th Street and Rawson Avenue; and

WHEREAS,  working together with City officials and City staff, Wauwatosa Savings Bank and KEI, Kujawa Enterprises, Inc. designed and implemented a plan for installing the enhancements in time for Memorial Day on May 29, 2006; and

WHEREAS,  the installation of Globe Arborvitae evergreens, Blue Haven and Kalllay Junipers, Goldmound Spirea bushes, and numerous perennials, as well as new dark cedar mulch, was handled in time to be enjoyed by visitors to the site on Memorial Day; and,

WHEREAS, Wauwatosa Savings Bank and KEI, Kujawa Enterprises, Inc. equally funded all costs of materials and labor as a donation to the City of Oak Creek in commemoration of Memorial Day, 2006.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, that sincere appreciation be extended to Wauwatosa Savings Bank and KEI, Kujawa Enterprises, Inc. for their generous donation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to Wauwatosa Savings Bank and KEI, Kujawa Enterprises, Inc.
