Recommendation:  The License Committee is meeting on 6/20/06 immediately prior to the Council meeting.  Any outstanding conditions remaining at the time this report is being written are highlighted below each liquor license applicant.  The Council will be informed at the Council meeting of any changes in status.

 

For those who have conditions, the recommendation is being made to grant, with issuance subject to compliance with those conditions.  It is anticipated that conditions will be met before the end of the licensing year (6/30/06).  For those with holds placed on them by the Department of Revenue, their licenses will not be issued until a release is received by the DOR.  The Police Department is always notified of those who do not hold a valid license as of 7/1/06 and police inspections are conducted to ensure that no sales or service is being conducted without a proper license.  The licensee is also notified that they are not to serve or sell without a license.
