Recommendation:  That the Council approve Ordinance No. 2401, establishing the salary ranges, wages, and allowances for part time personnel and other city offices and positions for the year 2006.

Background:  The Personnel Committee recommends that Council approve an increase in wage ranges for part time staff.  Although some of the ranges are increasing for 2006, many of these positions are seasonal in nature and are generally not filled at the high end of the ranges, but give latitude to the department manager in setting reasonable wages.

Fiscal Impact:  The 2006 budget, as proposed, includes funds to cover the recommended changes.
