RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO

STEPHEN R. JONAS AS 6^TH DISTRICT ALDERPERSON

WHEREAS, Stephen R. Jonas was elected to the position of 6^th District Alderperson on April 6, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Stephen R. Jonas’ aldermanic term expires on April 18, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Stephen R. Jonas chose to not pursue a second term as 6^th District Alderperson in order to devote more time to his family and career; and

WHEREAS, Stephen R. Jonas, during his two-year term, served as a member of the Community Development Authority (CDA), Board of Health, Library Board, Personnel Committee, License Committee, Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Committee, and Traffic & Safety Commission; and

WHEREAS, Stephen R. Jonas has served the best interests of the City and the residents of the 6^th District; and

WHEREAS, the City of Oak Creek has benefited from his contributions to City Government as an Alderperson.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, their sincere appreciation be and the same is hereby extended to Stephen R. Jonas for his service to the City.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to Stephen R. Jonas.
