                             RESOLUTION DESIGNATING OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS FOR 2007

RESOLVED that the following days are hereby declared to be the official holidays for all employees of the City of Oak Creek during the year of 2007, exclusive of the Police and Fire Departments, to wit:

1.         New Year’s Day (Monday, January 1, 2007)

2.         Friday before Easter (Friday, April 6)

3.         Memorial Day (Monday, May 28)

4.         Independence Day (Wednesday, July 4)

5.         Labor Day (Monday, September 3)

6.         Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 22)

7.         The Day After Thanksgiving (Friday, November 23)

8.         Christmas Eve Day (Monday, December 24)

9.         Christmas Day (Tuesday, December 25)

10.       New Year’s Eve Day (Monday, December 31)

NOTE:  New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2008, will be designated the first holiday date for the 2008 calendar year).

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Oak Creek held this 5th day of December, 2006.

Passed and adopted this 5th day of December, 2006.
