Recommendation: That the Common Council adopt Resolution No. 10717-121906, a Resolution of Appreciation to PATRICK D. CZARNECKI, retiring Utility Service Worker.
Background: PATRICK D. CZARNECKI served the City of Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility for 25 years and 5 months, and his career dictates that he be honored with this Resolution of Appreciation.

RESOLUTION NO. 10717-121906
RESOLUTION OF APRECIATION
TO
PATRICK D. CZARNECKI
WHEREAS, PATRICK D. CZARNECKI began his employment with the City of Oak Creek on July 13, 1981, as a full-time Utility Service Worker; and,
WHEREAS, PATRICK D. CZARNECKI responded to water main breaks in the early morning, late evening, and weekend hours and in inclement weather ; and,
WHEREAS, PATRICK D. CZARNECKI read meters on foot, flushed fire hydrants, climbed and inspected water towers, and spent countless hours maintaining lift stations; and,
WHEREAS, PATRICK D. CZARNECKI has been a valuable employee during his years of dedicated service by virtue of his dependability, self-sacrifice and many tireless hours responding to the calls of its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, PATRICK D. CZARNECKI has retired from his position of Utility Service Worker with the Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility, effective December 27, 2006, after completing 25 years and 5 months of full-time service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek, for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, that sincere gratitude and appreciation be extended to PATRICK D. CZARNECKI for his years of dedicated and faithful service to the City of Oak Creek and the Water and Sewer Utility, and that best wishes for good health and happiness be extended to PATRICK D. CZARNECKI and his family for future years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to PATRICK D. CZARNECKI.
