Recommendation:  That the Council approve Ordinance # 2441 and 2442, establishing the salary ranges, wages, and allowances for Non-Union and Management Personnel and Other City Offices and Positions for the Year 2007.

Background:  With all five labor agreements settled, a pattern of wages and benefits has been established for 2007.  Consistent with the Comprehensive Compensation Study discussed in Executive Session on December 5, 2006 the attached salary ordinances are recommended for approval.  The ordinances include an across the board increase for all non-union positions of 3.25% consistent with the 2007 labor contracts, effective January 1, 2007. 

Fiscal Impact:  The 2007 budget, as adopted, includes funds to cover the recommended changes.
