Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the installation of 3-way stop signs at the intersection of S. 3^rd Street and S. Donald Drive for a study ending in July, 2007.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on October 11, 2006.  The intersection does not meet the warrants for a multi-way stop as set by the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).   The Commission feels that the school bus stop at this intersection justifies the three-way stop.

Fiscal Impact:  If approved, there are sufficient funds available in the Street Department operating budget to accommodate this installation.
