Recommendation: That the Common Council approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to purchase one (1) 2007, 4X2 DRW stake bed truck with lift gate from Holtz Motors, Incorporated in the amount of $29,031.00.
Background: The Street Department advertised for bids for a current model stake bed truck with lift gate and received five (5) bids. The lowest bidder, Dodgeland, did not meet the requirements of the bid. Therefore, the 2nd lowest bidder, Holtz Motors, Inc., was selected.
