Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and deny the request for stop signs on S. Wildwood Drive at the intersection of S. Waring Drive.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on September 13, 2006.  The complaint was from residents in the area about excessive speeds.  This installation would make it a four-way stop condition at the intersection.  The proposed installation does not meet the warrants in the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control for a four way stop.

Fiscal Impact:  None.
