RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A WARRANTY DEED

FROM THE MILWAUKEE METROPOLITAN SEWERAGE DISTRICT

FOR THE PROPERTY AT 9865 SOUTH PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE

 (5th Aldermanic District)

                        WHEREAS the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) has offered to the City the property at 9865 South Pennsylvania Avenue  (THE PROPERTY); and:

                        WHEREAS THE PROPERTY was acquired by The Conservation Fund on behalf of  MMSD as part of its Greenseams flood management program; and

                        WHEREAS, the MMSD is proposing to transfer ownership of this property to the City, while retaining a conservation easement to restrict its future use.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and accept a Warranty Deed from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District for THE PROPERTY.

                        Introduced at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Oak Creek held this 3rd day of October, 2006.

                        Passed and adopted this 3rd day of October, 2006.
