TO

BRUCE A. BROSSMAN

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN has retired from his position as a Fire Fighter effective December 31, 2005, after 21 years and 2 months of dedicated full time service to the City of Oak Creek Fire Department; and

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN was appointed auxiliary Fire Fighter for the City of Oak Creek on January 18, 1979, and as a career Fire Fighter on October 30, 1984; and

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN has been one of the senior Emergency Medical Technicians in the State of Wisconsin and during his career has cared for numerous people who were sick or injured, at all times of the day, while delivering caring and skilled emergency care to them; and

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN worked in the Inspection Bureau for two years from January, 2002 to December 2003, where his dedicated work helped keep businesses, its occupants and other contacts safe from fire; and

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN responded to many major alarms utilizing his skills in fire fighting, rescue and dedication to his team; and

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN frequently conducted tours and participated in fire prevention activities for the children of Oak Creek during his career; and

WHEREAS, BRUCE A. BROSSMAN requested the position of supply manager, an often times thankless task that he proudly accomplished; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, that sincere gratitude and appreciation be extended to BRUCE A. BROSSMAN for his many years of dedicated and faithful service to the City of Oak Creek and the Fire Department, that the best wishes for good health and happiness be extended to BRUCE A. BROSSMAN and his family on his retirement.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to BRUCE A. BROSSMAN.
