RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
TO
MARVIN G. HUNT
WHEREAS, Marvin G. Hunt began his employment with the City of Oak Creek on September 2, 1975 as a Laborer; and
WHEREAS, Marvin G. Hunt was promoted to the position of Equipment Operator on July 29, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Marvin G. Hunt served as an acting supervisor when asked to do so in emergency situations; and
WHEREAS, Marvin G. Hunt was a very effective employee during his years of service with the Street Department, answering many calls for service and providing immeasurable service to the community; and
WHEREAS, Marvin G. Hunt has retired from his position of Equipment Operator with the City of Oak Creek Street Department effective December 31, 2005, having completed over 30 years of full-time service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek that for and on behalf of the residents of Oak Creek, sincere gratitude and appreciation be extended to Marvin G. Hunt for his 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Oak Creek Street Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to Marvin G. Hunt.
