Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopt Ordinance No. 2369, an ordinance setting the salary for the Inspection Supervisor.

 

Background:  The Common Council approved the creation of the Inspection Supervisor position on July 19, 2005 provided the position be filled with an existing inspector.  All inspectors were invited to submit a statement of qualifications.  Dan Nowak is the successful candidate for the position.  The Personnel Committee recommended a 5% increase over the highest paid inspector with paid overtime.

 

Fiscal Impact:  The Inspection Department 2005 budget will cover the added cost from the monies budgeted for the Building Commissioner position.  In 2006, the budget will be adjusted to reflect current staffing.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 2234

RELATING TO THE POSITION OF INSPECTION SUPERVISOR

 

            The Common Council of the City of Oak Creek does hereby ordain as follows:

 

            SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 2234, Section 2, is hereby amended to establish a salary for the position of Inspection Supervisor as follows:

            SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
