Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopt Ordinance No. 2361, an ordinance to repeal and recreate section 2.46 (a) (11) a of the municipal code relating to renaming the PHN Supervisor Position to include the title of deputy health officer.

Background:  The current PHN Supervisor, Sue Wojcinski, has assumed many of the duties of health officer during the absence of the Community Public Health Administrator. With the change to the municipal code, she would then have the authority to write citations and perform other enforcement actions as recommended by the state.

The Board of Health approved this recommendation at their June 8^th meeting and the Personnel Committee approved it at their July 20^th meeting.

Fiscal Impact:  None anticipated.
