Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the installation of No Parking signs 50 feet north and south of the Pick N’ Save entrance along both sides of S. Mayhew Drive. 

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on May 11, 2005.  The Commission believes that since this is the designated Truck Route for deliveries that the No Parking Restriction will allow access to Pick N’ Save.  It has been observed that the High School students are parking along this stretch of S. Mayhew Drive and making it difficult for the delivery vehicles to have access to the store.

Fiscal Impact:  There are sufficient funds available in the Street Division operating budget to accommodate this recommendation.
