NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BEFORE THE OAK CREEK COMMON COUNCIL

 

PURPOSE:     The purpose of this public hearing is to consider a proposal by the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin to rezone the properties at 7502 and 7512 S. Howell Avenue from Rs-3, Single Family Residential to I-1, Institutional.

Legal Description:  That part the Southwest 1/4 of Section 9, Township 5 North, Range 22 East, in the City of Oak Creek, County of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, as further described:

 

Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Southwest 1/4 of Section 9, thence N89º26’45”E, 74.86 feet to the point of beginning of the lands to be described; thence N89º22’26”E, 909.39 feet; thence S21º06’44”E, 267.36 feet; thence S89º10’55”W, 711.86 feet; thence N00º37’00”E, 127.87 feet; thence S89º22’41”W, 296.59 feet; thence N00º37’00”E, 125.00 feet to the point of beginning.

 

The Common Council has scheduled other public hearings for June 7, 2005 at 7:00 PM.  This hearing may begin at 7:00 PM or as soon as possible following the conclusion of other public hearings.
