NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BEFORE THE OAK CREEK COMMON COUNCIL

PURPOSE:     The purpose of this public hearing is to consider a proposal by the City of Oak Creek to create Section 17.0715 of the Municipal Code regarding sign permit appeals.

Hearing Date:                                    Tuesday, May 17, 2005

Time:                                      7:00 p.m.

Place:                                     Oak Creek City Hall

                                                8640 South Howell Avenue

                                                Oak Creek, WI  53154

                                                Common Council Chambers

Proposal:  This proposed language would designate the Plan Commission as the body authorized to grant sign variances.

The Common Council has scheduled other public hearings for May 17, 2005 at 7:00 PM.  This hearing may begin at 7:00 PM or as soon as possible following the conclusion of other public hearings.
