Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopts Resolution No. 10515-051705, accepting a water main easement for Project No. 05101, Kinney Lane Water and Sewer installation planned for 2005 (4th Aldermanic District).

 

Background:  The easement is necessary for the installation of water main from Ryan Road to approximately 500’ north of Ryan Road.  The alignment chosen follows the future road right of way and creates a straight line between an existing water main stub at Ryan Road and the end of the water main to the north.

 

Fiscal Impact:  The total cost of acquiring this easement is $1,500.00 and will be funded by the Water and Sewer Utility.

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WATER MAIN EASEMENTS

 

PROJECT NO. 05101

 

(4TH ALDERMANIC DISTRICT)

 

WHEREAS, the City of Oak Creek desires to install a water main in an easement along Kinney Lane from Ryan Road to approximately 500 feet north; and

 

WHEREAS, to enable the City to construct and maintain said water main, it will be necessary that a water main easement be obtained from the affected property owner; and

 

WHEREAS, the water main easement has been prepared affecting the following property owner, to wit:

 

Theresa J. Aghbashian

3444 E. Ryan Road

Tax Key No. 870-9968

 

and said easement is attached hereto.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Oak Creek that the attached water main easement is hereby approved and accepted.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached easement on behalf of the Common Council of the City of Oak Creek and upon said execution, the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to record the easement document in the Office of the Register of Deeds in and for Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
