Recommendation:  That the Common Council concur with the recommendation of the Personnel Committee and approve revisions to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Policy.

Background:  The Personnel Committee is meeting immediately prior to Tuesday’s Council meeting on 4/19/05 and will tentatively recommend approval of revisions to the current FMLA Policy. 

A copy of the memo distributed to the Personnel Committee, along with the current and recommended policies, is attached for reference.

Fiscal Impact:  None.
