Recommendation:  That the Common Council approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent and accept the written quote from Temple Display in the amount of $6,972.50 for boulevard Christmas decorations.

Background:  In the past 14 years, the City of Oak Creek has placed Christmas decorations along E. Puetz Road.  Last year, we began to install new decorations along South Howell Avenue.  Many compliments have been received by residents.

We would like to continue to purchase additional decorations which would be added to South Howell Avenue.  These new decorations would light up and replace the banners that have been previously used.  The banners are badly weathered.

The hardware of these new decorations matches our current hardware.  We can therefore alternate the new decorations with the old ones, if needed.

Fiscal Impact:   Funds in the amount of $12,000.00 have been approved in the 2004 Community Development Authority Capital Outlay.
