COUNCIL PROCLAMATION NO. 05-06

CONGRATULATIONS TO

DUAYNE TROYER

WHEREAS, Duayne Troyer, a lifetime resident of the City of Oak Creek, has served for 32 years as Branch President of Catholic Knights Branch 306, a fraternal, not-for-profit, member-owned Catholic membership organization whose branches sponsor charitable, educational, spiritual and social activities on the community level; and

WHEREAS, Duayne Troyer, in his volunteer capacity, led the Officer Team of 8-10 Officers, and is considered by all who worked with him as a truly great leader, a dedicated and meticulous individual responsible for creating and organizing approximately 15 social, charitable, and fundraising activities per year to benefit local Catholic parishes, schools, and the community at large; and

WHEREAS, Duayne Troyer is retiring from his position with Catholic Knights after 32 years of dedicated service, and is being honored at a banquet on Sunday, May 1, 2005.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council, for and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Oak Creek, do hereby honor Duayne Troyer for his 32 years of service with Catholic Knights.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this proclamation be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and that the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed to transmit a suitable copy thereof to Duayne Troyer.
