Review of slight revision to City logo.

Background: 

The current city logo has been in use without modification for several years.  The Mayor and each of the aldermen have shown support for slight revisions to the logo, primarily to more clearly identify our City’s location.  The new version is shown in a memo attached to this report.  The new logo would be used on letterhead stationery and envelopes, and would be incorporated into promotional items such as mugs, clothing, etc.  All present supplies of those types of materials showing the current logo will be utilized.

No signs, vehicles, fixed assets or any other items displaying the logo would be changed.

Fiscal Impact: 

Minimal charges for redrafting the logo at the printer and the promotional item and clothing vendors.
