Recommendation:  That the Common Council concur with the recommendation of the Street Superintendent and approve the low bid from Western Culverts for corrugated metal and A-2000 pipe for the year 2005.

Background:  The Street Department sent out bids to culvert suppliers and received bids from two (2) vendors.  The results were as follows:

Western Culverts	$22,576.86	Low Bidder
Contech, Incorporated	$23,013.17	Met Specifications

Fiscal Impact:  Funds have been provided for in the Street Department operating budget under account number 83435 Reimbursable Expenses in the amount of $7,000.00 and account number 83650 Storm Drainage Systems in the amount of $15,000.00.
