Recommendation:  That the Common Council establish combined meeting dates for 2006.

Background:  Years ago, the Council regularly began holding combined Committee of the Whole and Common Council meetings on Tuesday nights.  Also, throughout the year, combined Council meetings are routinely needed due to holidays, elections, etc.  To better enable the public, staff and the media to plan for these meetings, it is advisable to schedule these in advance whenever possible.

Included with this report is a complete listing showing combined regular meetings scheduled for 2006.

Fiscal Impact:  None.
