                             RESOLUTION DESIGNATING OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS FOR 2006

RESOLVED that the following days are hereby declared to be the official holidays for all employees of the City of Oak Creek during the year of 2006, exclusive of the Police and Fire Departments, to wit:

1.         New Year’s Day (Monday, January 2, 2006) (the first normal workday after New Year’s Day)

2.         Friday before Easter (Friday, April 14)

3.         Memorial Day (Monday, May 29)

4.         Independence Day (Tuesday, July 4)

5.         Labor Day (Monday, September 4)

6.         Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23)

7.         The Day After Thanksgiving (Friday, November 24)

8.         Christmas Eve Day (Tuesday, December 26) (the first normal workday following Christmas Eve Day)

9.         Christmas Day (Monday, December 25)

10.       New Year’s Eve Day (Tuesday, January 2, 2007) (the first normal workday following New Year’s Eve Day)

NOTE:  New Year’s Day (Monday, January 1, 2007) will be designated the first holiday date for the 2007 calendar year)

Passed and adopted this 6^th day of December, 2005.
