NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BEFORE THE OAK CREEK COMMON COUNCIL

The purpose of this public hearing is to consider a proposal by R.W. Howell, LLC to rezone portions of the property at 8375 S. Howell Avenue from B-3, Office and Professional Business to B-2, Community Business.

THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST ¼ SECTION 17, TOWN 5 NORTH, RANGE 22 EAST, IN THE CITY OF OAK CREEK, COUNTY OF MILWAUKEE, STATE OF WISCONSIN, WHICH IS BOUNDED AND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT A POINT IN THE EAST LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST ¼ OF SECTION 17, SAID POINT BEING IN THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTH ½ OF THE SOUTHEAST ¼ OF SECTION 17; THENCE NORTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID ¼ SECTION 463.07 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING OF THE LAND TO BE DESCRIBED; RUNNING THENCE WEST AND PARALLEL TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTH ½ OF SAID ¼ SECTION 376.25 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH AND PARALLEL TO THE EAST LINE OF SAID ¼ SECTION 289.43 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE EAST AND PARALLEL TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTH ½ OF SAID ¼ SECTION 376.25 FEET TO A POINT IN THE EAST LINE THEREOF; THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID ¼ SECTION 289.43 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPT THE EAST 75 FEET.

The Common Council has scheduled other public hearings for November 1, 2005 at 7:00 PM.  This hearing may begin at 7:00 PM or as soon as possible following the conclusion of other public hearings.
