Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and authorize the installation of “No Left Turn 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday Except Buses” on W. Puetz Road at the intersection of S. Violet Drive for a 6-month study.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on October 12, 2005.  This request was brought to the Commission at the request of the Whitetail Ridge Subdivision Homeowners Association.  They feel that there are a high number of vehicles that cut through the subdivision to avoid the congestion at the intersection of W. Puetz Road and S. 13^th Street.

Fiscal Impact:  There are sufficient funds available in the Street Department operating budget to accommodate this installation.
