Recommendation: That the Council approve Ordinance 2325, establishing the salary ranges, wages, and allowances for Non-Union and Management Personnel and Other City Offices and Positions for the year 2004.
Background: The following changes were made to the salary ordinance for 2004: all full time salaries were increased 2.9% and top salary ranges will be frozen for 2005. Increases for these positions will be reviewed and considered on an individual basis and will be included in the 2005 budget.
The consumer price index for 2004 has been 3%.
Fiscal Impact: The 2004 budget has funds to cover the recommended changes.
