Recommendation:  To concur with the recommendation of the Traffic and Safety Commission and approve the installation of stop signs on S. Shepard Avenue at the intersection of E. Elm Road.

Background:  The request was discussed at the Traffic and Safety Commission meeting on May 12, 2004.  A traffic study was done and to help control the traffic at the intersection the request was made.  This request will make the intersection a 4-way stop.

Fiscal Impact:  There are sufficient funds available in the Street Division operating budget to accommodate this recommendation.
