RESOLUTION NO. 10382-060104

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF OAK CREEK

ESTABLISHING THE CITY’S VOLUNTEER POLICY

WHEREAS, the purpose of having a Volunteer Policy is to ensure that high quality volunteers are considered and accepted for assignment within the city; and;

WHEREAS, the policy will also provide overall guidance and direction to staff and volunteers, answer questions and give necessary information to help make volunteering a positive experience; and;

WHEREAS, the proposed policy has been reviewed by the city’s legal counsel.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council supports the adoption of Resolution 10382-060104, establishing the City’s Volunteer Policy.

A copy of the Volunteer Policy is attached hereto.
