Recommendation:

That the Common Council authorize hiring a replacement for a permanent part-time Library Aide position.

 

Background

In accordance with Resolution 10287-100703, all vacant positions must have Council approval before being filled.  The City Librarian has requested that the Council authorize hiring a replacement for a permanent part-time Library Aide position.  (See attached memo from the City Librarian)

This request was reviewed by the Personnel Committee at their 3/9/04 meeting, and the Committee recommends approval.

 

Fiscal Impact

Funds have been budgeted in the 2004 Library PT Salaries account 95-105.
