Ms. Bauer,
I am a coach on two different Jr. Robotics Teams called "FIRST LEGO League". This year's competition included a challenge to team members to research an area of their community for Equal Access. Find out what Accessibility issues may exist for people with different abilities; and make the community aware of their findings. Both teams have spoken with Mayer Bolender and he suggested presenting their solutions to the common council.
We would like to have this opportunity to meet with the members at the December 7th meeting. Here would be the team members and their focus:
Team 14 - Equal Access Kids of America
Members - (3rd - 5th Grade)
Andy Burns
Kira Eschner
Elizabeth Kraidich
Meagan Ross
Abby Schaefer
Alex Sneed

Team 16 - Martian Exchange Students
Members (7th - 9th Grade)
Jimmy Burns
Robin Kraidich
Joey Laabs
AJ Rehfeldt

Project Focus - Classic Lanes Oak Creek - Access to lower hall - Lanes - Handicap Ramps for use by differently abled bowlers. They would also like to challenge council members in the community to spend a day in a wheel chair and try to access some of the growing business in the Oak Creek "downtown" especially those near the assisted living homes.
I can send you a draft of the individual presentations for assistance with placing these topics on the agenda. Each team would require 5 minutes to present and 10 minutes for questions/answers.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance in this matter.
