Recommendation: That the Council adopt Ordinance No. 2335, approving the rezoning of portions of the property at 8473 S. Howell Avenue from B-3, Office and Professional Business to B-4, Highway Business.
Background: The owners of Trattoria di Carlo are requesting that portions of the property at 8473 S. Howell Avenue be granted rezoned from B-3, Office and Professional Business to B-4, Highway Business.
The applicant is acquiring this property from the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches in order to expand their facility. The zoning is being changed to match the existing zoning on the parcel to the north, containing the restaurant.
The Plan Commission has reviewed this request, and has recommended its approval.
Fiscal Impact: Additional development of this property will provide additional tax base.
