Recommendation:  That the Common Council move to authorize payment of the contract progress payments for Project No. 01019/03031, Fire Station #1 structural renovation as listed on the attached summary report.

 

Background:  Contractors working on capitol improvement projects are paid periodically for work completed.  The listed contract progress payment is for work completed through November 15, 2004.  The repair project for Station #1 was bid at $119,564.  The project final punch list has been given to the contractor and the project is expected to be completed shortly.

 

Fiscal Impact:  The listed contract progress payment amounts to $6,737.00, and is to be paid with capital improvement funds from Project No. 03031.
