Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopt Resolution 10411-101904 to approve the name for the park site at 552 W. Rawson Ave., as the Oak Creek Veteran’s Memorial Park.

Background:  The Council has designated the site at 552 W. Rawson Ave. as the location of the Veteran’s Memorial.  It is appropriate at this time to officially name the park.

Work on the Veteran’s Memorial is progressing well.  The dedication is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2004.

Fiscal Impact:  The cost for suitable signage at the site will come from the Parks & Recreation department budget.
