Recommendation:  That the Common Council approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to reject the bids for culvert pipe for the 2004 calendar year and authorize the Street Department to re-bid.

Background:  The Street Department sent out bids to various culvert vendors and received three (3) bids.  In reviewing the bids it was determined that two (2) of the bids received did not meet specifications as they were unable to supply us with everything that was requested.  One bidder indicated they were no longer in the culvert business.
