Recommendation:  That the Common Council consider a motion to award the contract for the A-C Reorganization Trust Property, to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Henry Marohl, Inc. in the estimated amount of $81,900.00 (Project No. 98003) (4th Aldermanic District).

 

Background:  The project involves removing the contaminated soil from the A-C railroad spur track right-of-way that runs through Lake View Subdivision from the intersection of S. 5th Avenue and E. American Avenue to the northwest of the intersection of S. 6th Avenue and E. Dexter Avenue.   The project was advertised, and the following five bids were received.  It is the Engineering Division’s recommendation to purchase the materials from the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Henry Marohl, Inc.
