Item No. 26:   

Recommendation:  That the Common Council adopt Resolution No. 10264-081903, a resolution of necessity for the condemnation of lands and authorizing negotiation for such condemnation for the A-C Reorganization Trust Property (Project No. 98003) (4^th Aldermanic District).

Background:  The City will be working on the soil remediation project on the A-C Reorganization Trust Project.  The soil is contaminated with lead and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon.  The contamination is in the soil only and is not a water-transferred contamination. The cleanup will benefit the City and the adjacent property owners.

Fiscal Impact:  None.
